Good price and good beef! Cannot be missed. Was recommended by our hotel. No regrets! Was delicious. Has English menu!

When you first enter this restaurant all you see is a smoke filled room. The staff don't speak much English, but they have an English menu and you can just point at what you want. The meat in here is so soft and tasty it is by far the best meat I have ever eaten! The prices are very decent.

Kumano beef shop. It seems that the amount of one serving is considerable and it is unexpectedly reasonable. Chickens, pigs, hormones, side menus are plentiful. Taste good. Recommended.

Small family run Yakiniku restaurant. They have certified Kumano beef, it is as melting and delicious as Kobe beef. Reasonably priced, nice staff and good service. They also provide English menu.

When you go to Shingu, lunch is always here. The meat is delicious, the sauce is exquisite and it makes me feel happy from noon.I think you should make a reservation in the evening.

The only certified bear bison supply monopoly, the oil flower is even and juicy, the meat is delicious and tender, it is recommended to try it in the new palace! Single white rice is enough to make your mouth fragrant, delicious.

There aren’t too many shops nearby... but Xiong Ye Niu is really good to eat, people will have a lot of meal time, it feels like a local shop.

I'll go out on a limb and say that Yakiniku Hige was the best beef experience I had in all of Japan. In particular the offal offerings are sublime. Even my 10 year old daughter devoured liver and tongue without skipping a beat. The finer cuts were certainly blindingly good too (obligatory decadent Japanese marbling). When I make the trip back to Shingu it will be partially because of Yakiniku Hige, no offense Kumano-sansho-okami!

The only restaurant in Shingu City, Wakayama Prefecture where you can eat Kumano beef. Yakiniku beard is about a 10-minute walk from JR Shingu Station, but it's convenient because the bus is nearby. At lunchtime, there are a lot of set meals at a great price. Both are meat, but the specials are above. Set meal includes rice, miso soup and kimchi. Special vegetable salad. Oneself cooks meat and vegetables more and more on a hot iron plate. I personally recommend rare. You can thoroughly enjoy Kumano beef's gravy. Even the tallest special is 1600 yen (tax included), so it will be a good cospa lunch. It's a shop you can't miss if you come to Shingu!

This smoked filled tight-spaced restaurant has a massive variety of meats and side dishes for you to grill and enjoy. Their meat is top notch and melts in your mouth. The service is great and there is an English menu to point out your order in case your Japanese isn't strong. Highly recommended!
